The smallest vehicle in the world, tested also by Jeremy Clarkson in a previous Top Gear edition might return in production with two electric engines.
The smallest vehicle in the world might make a comeback! Peel, the brand responsible with the P50 model, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest vehicle in the world, is planning to return on the market. The rebirth of the brand coincides with the relaunch of Peel P50 and it's brother, Trident.
According to the first information, the models will be powered by a 49 cmc engine, capable of offering only 3.35 horse power, enough for a vehicle that has a weight lower than 100 kg.
Peel's plans even include a electric version which will offer only 16 hp and will guarantee a autonomy of 80 km. The performances are however modest as the maximum speed will be of only 25 km/h.
Surprising or not, there will also be a more advanced eco version, powered by a 3 horse power electric engine, willing to provide a speed of up to 45 km/h.
The two models, Trident and p50 each have a weight of 60 and 90 kg respectively and they are small enough to be sneaked into a elevator, as Jeremy Clarkson also proved.
