Lexus promises to return on top of the U.S market. This year, Lexus lost their position in favor of BMW, for the first time in 11 years.
This year, Lexus lost the first position as the best sold premium auto brand in the United States after 11 years of domination. But Lexus is not planning to give in to BMW and Mercedes so easily.
The Toyota subsidiary promises to make a spectacular comeback in 2012, betting on new models, capable to bring a 21% increase in sales compared to 2011. Mark Template, Lexus General Manager in the United States claims that this year Lexus will sell 50,000 more vehicles, and this means 250,000 vehicles.
To reach this number, Lexus will bring a seven seats crossover in the United States, new versions of the hybrid CT compact and even a series version of the LF-LC concept, which fascinated the audience this year at the Detroit Auto Show. This last model might be available at a price between 100,000 and 130,000 dollars, and clients will get sports performances.
